The healing helped of course but being able to blow away monsters within 50 meters without killing myself from explosion damage was a godsend.

The Slaughter EZ shotgun's become my loadout staple after getting just about max stats. it's the highest Inferno mission I can beat thanks to hordes of simple enemies, and yielded some great weapons. I was grinding 101 on Inferno for a good while.
I just beat mission 108 on Hardest with my Ranger.
